Monument to Metropolitan Sheptytsky in Lviv

Description Sheptytsky (1865-1944) - a prominent religious figure of the twentieth century. More than 50 years was chairman of the (Metropolitan) of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. His residence was in Lviv. The architects of the monument - and I.Kuzmak N.Fedyk, sculptors - N.Posikira and L.Yurchuk. Overall height of the composition is about 5.8 m. Authors implemented creatively in meaningful lifetime monumental plastic sculpture image Metropolitan height of 3.6 m, by sculptor A.Koverkom in 1931.
