Description Lake in winter. Dendropark Veselyye Bokovenki Park founded in 1893 by David ML project Ukrainian landscape painter IV Vladyslavskoho-Padalka. In the construction participated famous park parkoznavets AE Regel, advised of Academician GN Vysotsky and dendrologist EL Wolf. Forest planting carried out under the supervision of the provincial forester AA Yatskevich. Park owner ML Davidov worked on his creation for 30 years. The park is equipped in landscape style, was planted approx. 250 different species and forms of trees and shrub species on the river Bokovenki an area 109.3 hectares. The park has become established as the picturesque islands of. In 1916 Davydov ML park gave the Russian Geographical Society. In 1930 the arboretum was transferred to the Ukrainian Research Institute of agroforestry, who in 1934 organized a stronghold in the park. It was started with testing of exotic forest plantations and forest shelter belts and selection of species - oaks, walnuts, hazel, poplar. Work on breeding Walnut headed FL Schepotyev and went on PP Badalovo which brought winter-hardy, high yield, fast-growing hybrids nuts and winter-hardy krupnoplidni, and in some cases - tonkoshkaralupni forms hazelnuts. In 1960, the park gained the status of monuments of landscape art. In 1993, after a century since its foundation, the park acquired the name of its founder - ML David. In September 1999 the company was transferred to the Kirovograd Regional Forestry. Since February 2007, the institution called experimental breeding arboretum forest center "Funny Bokovenki." Is part of Veselobokovenkivskoyi selection and dendrology station.
