The Sony World Photography Awards

Sony World Photography Awards is recognized by the international community as a grand event to assess the issue of photographs and prizes to the winners. It started in 2008, and its purpose was — to support the promotion for the people who have made a contribution to the rapidly evolving culture of photography. Among the participants were honored as representatives of students that are not related to professional activities in the field of photography, the so-called amateur enthusiasts, as well as well-known professional photographers offering their work in a number of previous multiple photographic exposures, such as Professional, Open, Student, Mobile Phone, etc.
