Building of the Security Service in the winter

Description The building of the Security Service of Ukraine - the main building of the Security Service of Ukraine is located on Vladimirskaya Street, house 33 - in the same building where the KGB of the Ukrainian SSR was located before independence. This building was built in 1913-1914. As the Zemstvo council on the corner of two streets - Iryninskaya and Vladimirskaya, on the site of the 11th century Irininskaya church. In the years 1934-38. In the building was the Central Committee of the Communist Party (Bolsheviks). After the Central Committee moved to Mikhailovskaya Square, the building was handed over to the state security organs.
